The Illustration Beginner Arena is geared towards artists who want to participate in a learning environment. For Worth1000's purposes, "illustration" encompasses all forms of two dimensional art that use neither photographic nor 3D rendered elements. This commonly includes all types of "real" media (pencil, pen, paint, charcoal) as well as digital media (Painter, Photoshop, Gimp, MS Paint), in a range of styles including painterly, line art, manga, vector, and more.
